utility belt Batman keeps most of his personal field equipment in a signature piece of apparel: a yellow utility belt. The utility belt has a button to call the Batmobile. Over the years it has contained items such as plastic explosives, nerve toxins, batarangs, smoke bombs, a fingerprint kit, a cutting tool, a grappling hook gun, torches, a "re-breather" breathing device, and lockpicks. Superman entrusted Batman with a ring made of Kryptonite, to be used should the Man of Steel ever need to be reined in. The Kryptonite Ring is contained in a lead pocket, in order to shield Batman from its radiations. The belt also has its own automatic security systems.
batrope A virtually "un-cuttable" length of monofilament wire attached to a spool, and concealed within a special compartment on Batman's utility belt. Used primarily for scaling buildings and ensnaring targets.
batarangs A roughly bat-shaped throwing weapon used by Batman as a non-lethal ranged attack alternative to firearms. Batarangs serve as instruments of disarming, distraction, confusion, or simply warn would-be adversaries that Batman is present.

batmobile A voice controlled, bullet- and fire-proof roadster built by Bruce coated with titanium, reactive armor, jet engines, and onboard computers capable of connecting to the Batcave. Tires are Kevlar-reinforced and filled with petroleum jelly similar to military armored cars. The Batmobile is built to absorb and redistribute shock upon impact. It can be triggered by Batman's utility belt or gloves, and is wired to self-destruct upon remote command. It is also fitted with missiles, GPS trackers, ejectable seats, and remote control auto-pilot.
batplane Aerial vehicle capable of reaching supersonic speeds built as a small jet capable of converting into a helicopter and submarine. It's equipped with a vacuum blanket to disrupt and jam control boards from enemy planes, and the "smart" paint exterior is radar-shielding ceramic capable of camouflaging the plane from the naked eye and most radars.
batboat Slim speedboat capable of converting into a submarine. In submersible mode, oxygen tanks provide up to six hours of breathable air. Includes state-of-the-art navigation systems, communication links, and accent-rate alarms. Also fitted with homing torpedoes, sonar/heat target-acquisition, and launching grapnel that doubles as an anchor.
The cave houses a supercomputer on par with those of leading national security agencies and connects to a massive information network as well as stores vast amounts of information Batman has collected over the years on friends and foes alike. The cave serves as a state of the art crime lab (with various specialized laboratories and mechanized workshops) and a highly advanced medical facility. It has a personalized gym, a vast library, parking, docking and hangar space for his various vehicles. There is also a specialized cage room to simulate escape situations, various additional training areas, a Justice League teleporter, and a large colony of bats.
The Batcave also contains a unique amount of Batman's trophies, and houses several glass cases that serve as a display for many of Batman's Batsuits and other uniforms past and present of the Bat Family.
